One of the best video tributes to the King of Pop

Gone too soon
RIP, MJ

R.I.P King of Pop.

You will be missed. Terribly.

To think you even recently planned a comeback. I guess it's a comeback to the Father you're headed to now.

I've learned... (0)

6:30 PM by , under

By Omer B. Washington

I’ve learned that you cannot make someone love you.
All you can do is be someone who can be loved.
The rest is up to them.
I’ve learned that no matter how much I care,
some people just don’t care back.
I’ve learned that it takes years to build up trust
and only seconds to destroy it.
I’ve learned that it’s not what you have in your life
but who you have in your life that counts.
I’ve learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes.
After that, you’d better know something.

I’ve learned that you shouldn’t compare yourself
to the best others can do,
but to the best you can do.
I’ve learned that it’s not what happens to people,
It’s what they do about it that matters.
I’ve learned that no matter how thin you slice it,
there are always two sides.
I’ve learned that you should always talk to loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you’ll see them.
I’ve learned that you can keep going
long after you think you can’t.

I’ve learned that heroes are the people who do what has to be done
When it needs to be done,
regardless of the consequences.
I’ve learned that there are people who love you dearly,
but just don’t know how to show it.
I’ve learned that sometimes when I’m angry I have the right to be angry,
but that doesn’t give me the right to be cruel.
I’ve learned that true friendship continues to grow even over the longest distance.
Same goes for true love.
I’ve learned that just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have.

I’ve learned that no matter how good a friend is,
they’re going to hurt you every once in a while
and you must forgive them for that.
I’ve learned that it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
I’ve learned that no matter how bad your heart is broken,
the world doesn’t stop for your grief.
I’ve learned that our background and circumstances may influence who we are,
but we are responsible for who we become.
I’ve learned that just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other.
And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do.

I’ve learned that sometimes you have to put the individual
ahead of their actions.
I’ve learned that no matter the consequences,
those who are honest with themselves go farther in life.
I’ve learned that your life can be changed in a matter of hours
by people who don’t even know you.
I’ve learned that even when you think you have no more to give,
when a friend cries out to you,
you will find the strength to help.

I’ve learned that writing,
as well as talking,
can ease emotional pains.
I’ve learned that the people you care most about in life
are taken from you too soon.
I’ve learned that it’s hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice
and not hurting people’s feelings and standing up for what you believe.
I’ve learned to love
and be loved.

Chicken Ala Carte (2)

A sad but true story about how people irresponsibly add to the problem of world hunger.

Who says we don't have enough? We have more than enough. We just don't know how to share. People have to really start to become more selfless and think of ways to reach out to the less fortunate.

Watching this video brought tears to my eyes. A friend shared it to me and now I hope to get the message to you too.

This short film won the Berlin Short Film Festival.

Slumdog Millionaire's Dev Patel, visits co-star Freida Pinto at her filming location in Israel.

A little birdie.. oh wait.. Dev's mom confirms their offscreen romance.

Mom Anita said :“First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place.

“Life can’t get any better for him. Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her.”

And this also tells us that age doesn't matter in love. Dev is 18 and Freida 24.

Snakes escape on the plane (4)

9:43 PM by , under

On a flight in Australia, 4 baby Stimson pythons escaped their container box. They were to be transported from Alice Springs to Melbourne and were about 6 inches long.

When the plane landed and it was realized that the snakes had escaped, a team had to search for them in the plane causing airline to cancel 2 flights after that. The snakes were not found so the plane was fumigated so it could resume operation on Wednesday.

The snakes weren't endangered and weren't venemous. Whew.

QUEEN BLOGGER .. of anything & everything interesting!

By anything and everything, I literally mean ANYTHING & EVERYTHING! It's really my mood that dictates what I discuss here. Topics will range from Fashion, News, Fun, Activities, Internet, Gossip, Hollywood, Movies, Sports, Politics, Philosophy, Culture, etc.

Now you know what I mean. In this hectic, man eat man world, most of you forget to have fun. You miss out on so much because your everyday is becoming so work-centered. Ugh it's disgusting. You miss out on life and what it really means to live. People have different interests so I don't want to just talk about one thing here. I myself am interested in so many things and I get bored with just reading about one single topic over and over again.

I'm here to change that.

Browse around and save yourself from getting wrinkled foreheads from all that stress. Here will be my melting pot of my oh so many interests.

Enjoy and make sure you drop by again! Bisous!
