R.I.P King of Pop.

You will be missed. Terribly.

To think you even recently planned a comeback. I guess it's a comeback to the Father you're headed to now.

For men 5'8" and under 1

12:26 AM by , under , ,

Instead of men buying a jacket bigger than their real size and getting it altered, why not a store for shorter men? This is the question Jimmy Au's For Men 5'8" and Under answered when he opened a store with shorter clothes racks and shorter mannequins.

Height, for a man, is the ultimate power marker. An added inch of height is equivalent to an extra $30,000 year of salary, on average, when it comes to attracting a mate, says Andrew Trees, author of "Decoding Love," a book about the science of attraction. Height also affects earnings -- though less dramatically: Each inch earns you about $600 more per year in salary after controlling for variables like education, he says.
Wow really?

But they also say that a man's height also depends on how he presents himself. So if he feels tall, people will see him as tall and same goes for feeling short. Reports say "One out of three men in the United States is under 5 feet 8 inches tall." This 1/3 deserves a store which would make them feel like they belong. A store which would allow them to just pick out a pair of pants, try them on, purchase and wear right away. No alterations, fitting just right.

Their website for online shopping will greet you with this "
Welcome to Jimmy Au's For Men 5'8" and Under… designer fashion tailored for today’s shorter man who doesn’t want to look short."

People used to complain to me all the time, 'I can't even hear you sing because your clothes are so loud.' - US singer Cyndi Lauper

We can totally see why they say that, Cyndi!

Poor kid outside Mcdonalds

I was going through some of my old pictures and I stumbled upon this. A photo I took for my boyfriend's class. They had to make a poster on a certain campaign. We were eating in McDonald's when this child beggar approached us.

Poverty.com reported
About 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations. This is one person every three and a half seconds
A reminder for us to be grateful for what we have.

A challenge for us to do whatever we can to make a difference in this world. I believe we can never have too little to share.

Quoting Y! News:

New York State Senator Eric Adams stands in front of the New York Post building holding a cartoon that ran in the Post Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, in New York. A New York Post cartoon that some have interpreted as comparing President Barack Obama to a violent chimpanzee gunned down by police drew outrage Wednesday from civil rights leaders and elected officials who said it echoed racist stereotypes of blacks as monkeys.

Dad at 13 (2)

I'm having mixed feelings for this situation. The dad, Alfie Patten is 13 and girlfriend Chantelle Steadman is 15! These kids know nothing about parenthood, not even how much nappies cost. It's very disturbing and sad that kids this young are actually having babies.

Teacher dies saving student
By Carla Gomez

BACOLOD CITY – A teacher died while saving his student from being run over by a church bus in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, at about 4 p.m. Thursday.

Cesar Quinto Jr., died when he was hit by the bus driven by Ephraim Suarez in Barangay Paraiso, Sagay, the city police said.

Quinto, a teacher at the Holy Family School, had managed to push the student to the side of the road before the bus, owned by the Open Door Baptist Church, hit him instead, the police said.

Suarez surrendered to the police shortly after the accident, while the pastor of the church, Jonathan Arellano, blamed the accident on the bad condition of the road.

Residents and employees of the sugar central in the area, in a TV interview, also complained about the dilapidated road even as they noted that several accidents had already happened there.

QUEEN BLOGGER .. of anything & everything interesting!

By anything and everything, I literally mean ANYTHING & EVERYTHING! It's really my mood that dictates what I discuss here. Topics will range from Fashion, News, Fun, Activities, Internet, Gossip, Hollywood, Movies, Sports, Politics, Philosophy, Culture, etc.

Now you know what I mean. In this hectic, man eat man world, most of you forget to have fun. You miss out on so much because your everyday is becoming so work-centered. Ugh it's disgusting. You miss out on life and what it really means to live. People have different interests so I don't want to just talk about one thing here. I myself am interested in so many things and I get bored with just reading about one single topic over and over again.

I'm here to change that.

Browse around and save yourself from getting wrinkled foreheads from all that stress. Here will be my melting pot of my oh so many interests.

Enjoy and make sure you drop by again! Bisous!
